# Create and share a Space

A Space holds the saves for one project or trip. Create one, invite people by email as contributors, and talk it through in a comment thread.

* * *

A Space holds the saves for one project or trip: the links, your notes and the comments on them. Kepler and your AI answer from one Space at a time, so a Space for each project keeps the answers on topic.

## Create a Space

1. **Open the Space switcher.** It sits beside Save in Kepler’s dock, and at the top of the side panel.

2. **Choose Add a space.**

3. **Name it and pick an icon,** then select **Create**.

Tip

Name a Space after what you’re working on, such as China trip, rather than a label like misc.

You can create Spaces in the mobile app too. They sync with your browser, so a Space you make in one shows up in the other.

## Private or shared

A new Space is private: it’s yours until you invite someone. Inviting someone makes it shared. You can keep as many private and shared Spaces as you like, on every plan.

## Invite someone

1. **Open the Space switcher** and choose **Invite people**.

2. **Enter their email address.** The role beside it is **Contributor**, so they can view, edit and comment.

3. **Select Send.** Kepler emails them your invitation, and they show in the Space’s members as **Pending** until they accept.

What you’ll see: Kepler’s side panel after Send: a message says “Invitation sent”, and the person is listed as Pending.

On your phone, tap the people at the top of the Space, enter an email address and tap **Send**. Invitations from the phone are contributors too.

## What they see

Once they accept, they see the Space’s saves and comments, and can save into it, add notes and comment. They can also ask about it in Kepler, or in ChatGPT or Claude once they’ve connected Kepler.

As the Space’s owner, you can remove someone later: choose **Manage members**, open their role and select **Remove from space**.

## Talk it through

Open a save to start a thread, or reply to one. Mention a member with @ and they’re notified. Mention @Kepler and Kepler replies from what you’ve all saved.
